Renovation of a library in Baldwin, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
**As of July 08, 2020, the project has already been awarded and the construction has started but the award information is not yet available at this time. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Certification of bonding company is required for this bid, see Instructions for Bidders. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for sixty (60) days after the formal bid opening. . It is the Boards intention to award the contract to the lowest qualified bidder in compliance with the specifications providing the required security who can meet the experience, technical and budget requirements. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interests of the School District.
