This project involves the design and construction of a new Public Safety Building (main building and smaller ancillary building) and associated site improvements to serve the greater University community of faculty, staff, visitors, and especially students. The new building and site should be easily accessible for the entire campus community, and feel professional, welcoming and inviting, especially for students. The project should provide opportunity for flexible gathering spaces that support the training needs of public safety, but also allow for collaborative engagement with the greater University community. The project will merge University Health dispatch with campus police dispatch functions for more efficient and streamlined operations.
