All solicitation questions must be emailed to Paula Brown at paula.brown@chandleraz.gov, no later than 5:00 p.m. local Arizona time on June 12, 2020. Any inquiries received after the specified time will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Project Manager to determine if a response is warranted. The Engineer's Estimate range is $ 288,000 - $ 348,000. Work under this contract includes: demolition of existing features, new ADA compliant playground equipment, ADA compliant entry from Erie Street, security fencing along the perimeter, new concrete walkway, new site furnishings, screening on the East side of the property, LED lighting, and landscape & irrigation improvements. Work must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by the Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the City of Chandler, Arizona, or a certified or cashier's check. The improvements at East Mini Park will be funded partially, or in whole, by a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Chandler.
