Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chandler, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will construct a 310-foot shared use path to connect the Ashley Trail from its current terminus at Cooper Road between Chandler Boulevard and Ray Road to the Paseo Trail. This project will also install a pedestrian crossing signal or other crossing safety enhancement to provide a safe crossing for trail users. This project is recommended in the Transportation Master Plan 2019 Update. Although no grant funds have been secured for this project, grant funding will be pursued. This project is in included in the City of Chandler's FY 2024-2033 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of April 9, 2024, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
