The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, All labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform the work at the project site as indicated and specified herein. All work is related to the demolition and construction required to create a fully finished and functional open office workspace, entry vestibule, and storage room in an existing garage space and renovations to an existing bathroom to create a multi fixture bathroom. Last day to submit questions is October 6, 2023 no later than 12:00 Noon. Questions shall be submitted in writing through Electronically. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price in the form of a bid bond or certified, treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. The "Fair Share" construction requirement for this project is a minimum of 10.4% combined MBE/WBE participation by state certified MBEs and WBEs Project Estimate: $360,000.00 The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
