**The project was awarded to Top Line Construction Corporation for $1,493,428.12.** Bid #M20-88 Milling & Resurfacing Main St. (C.R. 513) & Mendham Rd (C.R. 510) Bid #M20-88 Milling & Resurfacing, Main St. (C.R. 513) & Mendham Rd (C.R. 510) in the Borough and Township of Chester for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, 90,040 S.Y. HMA Milling, 2" Thick, 10840 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick, 295 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, Reinforced, 6" Thick, 39 S.Y. Detectable Warning Surface, 525 L.F. 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 250 L.F. Beam Guide Rail, 2 Unit Flared Guide Rail terminal, Reconstruct & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, in addition to other miscellaneous items. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bid and Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. Due to the circumstances, during the bid opening process, a bid review and providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted online once available. Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris has a drop box located in the Lobby of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.
