Renovation of a municipal facility in Evansdale, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
All labor and materials required to make new electrical connections and do required electrical modifications to existing pump station equipment to connect new backup generators and transfer switches purchased under separate contract to existing lift station control systems for the sanitary lift stations on Arbutus Avenue and East End Avenue. Liquidated damages of $50 (Fifty Dollars) per calendar day shall be assessed for completion after August 28, 2020. Preference of Products and Labor. By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. Sales Tax Exemption Certificates. The bidder shall not include sales tax in the quote. The City of Evansdale will distribute tax exemption certificates and authorization letters to the Contractor and all subcontractors who are identified. The Contractor and subcontractor may make copies of the tax exemption certificates and provide a copy to each supplier providing construction materials. These tax exemption certificates and authorization letters are applicable only for this specific project under the Contract.
