The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Removal of approximately 480 linear feet of asphalt trail and construction of 6-feet wide, 6-inch thick concrete trail in portion of the Althaus Trail located north of Asbury Road. The work also includes installation of storm sewer structures and related HDPE sewer, French drain installation, temporary erosion control, grading and turf restoration. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof All work will commence following the issuance of a written notice to proceed. The Work will be substantially completed on or before October 16, 2020 and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions on or before October 30, 2020. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The City Council of the CITY OF ASBURY will conduct a public hearing on the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the construction ofthe above-described improvements on July 14, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. Any interested person may file objections to the proposed plans, specifications or contract.
