Request for Qualifications - RFQ - Contractor 10/15/2020 at 2:00 PM ET From: Virginia Department of General Services - Engineering & Building Division, Owner - RFQ date changed from 07/07/2020. Sealed qualifications will be received at the Washington Building, 1100 Bank Street, Richmond, VA 23219. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, contractors responding shall only be allowed to drop off qualifications at the guard station at the Bank Street entrance. The security guard will not accept the qualifications, they will contact the procurement office. Pre-Qualification for Subcontractors for the new industrial refrigeration plant/air system replacement for the cooler/freezers at the Virginia Distribution Center. All inquiries for information shall be submitted in writing by e-mail to procurement@dgs.virginia.gov on the supplied pre-proposal question form, no later than 5pm EST September 30, 2020. This work consists of construction and installation of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems with +35F to +38F cold storage and -5F to -20F cold storage in an existing facility without disturbing the operations of the existing systems. Anticipated Construction Start Date: February 2021 Anticipated Construction Duration: 16 months All inquiries will be answered after September 30, 2020 and posted electronically.
