Renovation of a civil project in Curtice, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Q&A Deadline 02/16/2022 5:00 PM (EST) The City of Toledo is seeking a contractor to construct improvements to the carbon feed system located at its Low Service Pumping Station. The work will consist of the construction of a new powdered activated carbon (PAC) feed building and associated feed equipment, removal of discontinued PAC slurry tanks and feed equipment, and the relocation of a PAC storage silo from the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant. Bids for this project can be accepted via e-bid only through the City of Toledo's PlanetBids portal. Bids prices shall be to two (2) decimal places (i.e. $0.00) or four (4) decimal places (i.e. $0.0000). Only one (1) price per line item will be accepted with this bid. In order to be responsive, all bids must have the following with submittal: o Construction Project Paperwork* o Line Items o Bid Guaranty (bid bond or certified check / cashiers check on a solvent bank) o Signed Contract by the Vendor* o Child Support Affidavit* o Bureau of Workers Compensation Certificate o Tax Exemption Certificate* o Insurance Certificate, naming the City of Toledo as an additional insurer o Base Bid Manufacturer's Schedule o Bid Form *Located on Documents tab in PlanetBids If using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be scanned and uploaded with your bid. In addition, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. No Company checks will be accepted. Checks shall be made payable to City of Toledo. City forms must be filled out and attached to the bid: Project Paperwork (Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Conditions Contract Specifications; Toledo Municipal Income Tax Compliance; Public Utilities Compliance; MBE Good Faith and Goal Commitment; EEO Form; Primary and Subcontractor Forms and Debarment and Suspension Certificate; Best Bid Criteria); Signed Contract by Vendor CEO/President; Current Worker's Compensation Certificate; Insurance Certificate listing the city of Toledo as an additional insurer; Child Support Affidavit; and Tax Exemption Certificate. The following items will be required upon awarding the contract: Performance Bond and PLA. Special Notices Prevailing Wages are required for this project. It is the obligation of a contractor or subcontractor to make payment in accordance with the prevailing wage determinations.
