To provide collection and disposal of residential solid waste and collection of recyclables on an exclusive contract basis for all single household and multiple household residential properties within the Township for a five (5)-year term beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2025, subject to optional extensions of two (2) additional years in one (1) year increments. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Refuse Collection and Disposal Bid" and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five ( 5) percent of the total bid, which will be held as security until completion of the bid solicitation process. The successful bidder will furnish a performance bond in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00). All requested information must be provided completely and on the prescribed forms or the bid will not be considered. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any technicalities or irregularities in the bids as the interests of the Township may require. The Township further reserves the right to award the contract for this service to the bidder who, in the sole discretion of the Township, is the lowest and best bidder.
