A brief description of work in the project follows: The location is an existing, 1 story educational building includes but not limited to: create a collaboration/reception area and 3 small offices, demo of an existing wall to create a single classroom. Replace existing lights, install miscellaneous electrical components, also includes some painting and floor installation. Paint existing walls in the corridor. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. E-Verify Requirements: This project requires the awarded vendor to comply with the requirements of E-Verify. (U.S. law requiring companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States - either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary authorization.) Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project.
