Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a pre-engineered storage facility in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,100-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Transformer Containment Building for Bryan Texas Utilities, construction of 1200 sf new addition to the existing warehouse located at 611 Union Street, Bryan, Texas 77801. PEMB: The new addition will be a pre-engineered metal building is to match the configuration of the existing metal building. The building will be insulated and contain one walk door and one manually operated overhead door. Electrical and Mechanical/ HVAC: The building will require electrical sub feed from existing warehouse electrical panels. The building will contain power and exterior and interior lighting only. No ventilation or HVAC will be required in the new building. Pathway conduits will be provided for Owner supplied and installed security cameras. The building will not require plumbing and will not require fire sprinkler system. Foundation: The buildings foundation will be constructed so as to provide a containment wall at the perimeter wall as shown on the drawings. The finish grades and the containment wall will require a forklift ramp up to the top of the containment wall and down into the bottom of the containment finish floor as shown on the drawings. The slab on grade foundation will be supported by drilled foundation piers. Location - The Project is located at 611 Union Street, Bryan, Texas 77801 (to be re-addressed by the City of Bryan as 2301 Fountain Avenue, Bldg 211, Bryan, Texas 77801). BTU has established a target commencement date for construction activities as August 12, 2020. The projected completion date is estimated to be 90 days. BTU reserves the nght to modify the commencement date, subject to Owner and Contractor availability, phase the construction of the Project, or modify the schedule as needed and determined by BTU due to modifications in scope. Project Budget - The proposed budget for construction costs for this Project is $204,281.00, inclusive of all incidental and contingent expenses associated with the construction of the entire scope of the Project. Earliest Award August 10, 2020 Construction or Service Commencement August 17, 2020 Pre-Construction or Service Meeting TBD Completion November 16, 2020 Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or an approved Bid Bond/Proposal Guaranty in the amount of 5% of the Proposal cost, payable to Bryan Texas Utilities without recourse, as a guarantee the Proposer will enter into a contract and execute 100% performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) days after the contract has been awarded. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required (if the contract exceeds $100,000). A Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required (if the contract amount exceeds $50,000). All Responses must be in BTU's possession on or before the scheduled date and time (no late responses will be considered). BTU's Purchasing Department is not open for weekend or holiday deliveries.
