**As of August 27, 2020, the project is already been awarded but the awarded amount is not yet confirmed. The anticipated start date is September 2020 and completion of Summer 2021.** The DBE goal for this project is 1.5% percent. The project includes reconstruction of existing Runway 15-33 (4,002' x 75') and approximately 160 linear feet of Taxiway A (30' wide). The project also includes installation of new REILS on both ends of the runway, a new PAPI on the Runway 33 end, and a new rotating beacon and tower. Work includes but is not limited to; installation of new LED runway lights, marking of the runway and taxiway pavement, underdrain installation, and regrading of turf safety areas. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective bidders are asked to provide information on whether their company is listed as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in the state where the work will be performed in order to comply with FAA regulations. Prospective bidders will be asked to provide this information at time of plan purchase. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the General Provisions. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Contractor on this work will be required to comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration and the Eastport Municipal Airport DBE Program. No bidder may withdraw any bid prior to September 30, 2020
