Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 156,290-square-foot, five-story above grade educational facility; and educational facility.

Construction of the School of Biomedical Engineering building on the Vancouver Point Grey Campus. The building will primarily be composed of various learning and research spaces, office and support services and will occupy the site of the existing D.H. COPP Building on University Blvd. This building is currently in planning for demolition (by others). The project will locate UBC's new School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) that is jointly administered by the Faculty of Applied Science and the Faculty of Medicine. TIMELINE: Construction is underway. *The project is designed for a minimum LEED Gold certification with a goal to achieve maximum sustainability performance possible within the specified program budget. GHL Consultants Ltd is the Code Consultant.
