This Pavement Evaluation Report addresses the City of Eden Prairie's 2021 Improvement Projects. We understand the City is planning about 13.5 miles of improvement projects. Of the 13.5 miles, repairs onapproximately 5.6 miles will likely consist of mill-and-overlay, full-depth pavement removal and replacement, full-depth reclamation (FDR), stabilized full-depth reclamation (SFDR), cold inplace recycling (CIR) or cement stabilization. According to the City's pavement management program, the streets are classified as local, minor collector, major collector and B Minor Arterial. Today's projected condition index (CI) scores range from 5 to 100. To assess the ideal repair type for the 5.6 miles of city streets, we performed Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) testing, pavement coring and hand auger borings, as well as laboratory testing for roadways being considered for SFDR.
