Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of September 3, 2020, a general contractor has been awarded. It is anticipated that construction on some portions of this project will start in September 2020. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: THE PROJECT consists of the mill and overlay of Runway 4-22, Taxiway A and multiple taxiway connectors as well as installation of an EMAS bed for Runway 22, associated pavement marking, drainage work and adjustments to the MALSR light stations. Runway and taxiway lighting and signage improvements are also included. RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS. The LFUCAB proposes to award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, provided it has met the goals for DBE participation or, if failing to meet the goals, has made an acceptable good faith effort to meet the established goals for the DBE participation. Bidder is advised that LFUCAB reserves the right to reject any and all Bids submitted, to waive any and all informalities, irregularities and/or technicalities in any Bid or Bid Guaranty, to accept any Bid deemed advantageous to it; and, to negotiate changes, deletions, or additions to these Contract Documents with the successful Bidder Bid Results: L and M Asphalt $16,241,270.00
