The work will be performed in Lexington, Kentucky. This project will be funded by the Owner/Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG). Owner and LFUCG can be used interchangeably. The work consists of labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the construction of storm sewer and channel improvements along Peachtree Road/Woodhill Drive and terminating in the roadway ditch for New Circle Road. The work performed shall also include replacement/relocation of a section of the existing 54-inch storm sewer on Woodhill Drive near its intersection with Mulberry court. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Proposal, the General Conditions, and the Special Conditions of the Contract, the Specifications and Contract Documents therefore as prepared for the Peachtree Road / Woodhill Drive Stormwater Improvements The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has set a goal that not less than ten percent (10%) of the total value of this Contract be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, which is made up of MBEs and WBEs.
