Site work for a water / sewer project in Conroe, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The major items of work include: Extension of a 570 LF 12" and 135 LF 8" Waterline. A portion of the project will include trenchless construction under one State roadway with steel casing. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of Montgomery County MUD 18 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. The Work will be substantially completed by the CONTRACTOR within Thirty (30) calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, subject to adjustments of Contract Time allowed in accordance with Article 11 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 10 business days after the date of Substantial Completion.
