Debris Monitoring Services related to natural disasters and emergency events in order to deal with the consequences of major storm events, man-made events, and/or other related weather or natural event occurrences. Small and/or minority owned firms, HUD Section 3 firms, and women's business enterprises are encouraged to participate. City of Covington is an Equal Opportunity Employer. AWARD OF CONTRACT In the event the city decides to award a contract pursuant to this RFP, the city will provide a properly prepared Agreement to the successful Proposer. In the event that the agreement is not signed by the Proposer and returned to the city within thirty (30) days the city may cancel the agreement. If the agreement by the city is not returned to the successful Proposer within thirty (30) days, the Proposer may require that it be released from contract obligation. The foregoing action by the city or the Proposer shall in no way provide any cause whatsoever for a claim against the city by the Proposer. The contract shall be effective until March 31, 2023, with an optional one-year renewal period. This contract shall only be used on an "as needed" basis as determined solely by the City of Covington. SELECTION PROCESS Proposals will be reviewed and ranked by the evaluation criteria below. Those firms listed may be selected for interviews and shall be prepared to make a scheduled oral presentation to the city, if required.
