For Northwest and Northeast Ponds Enhancements at Hempstead Lake State Park General Construction Contract: D005749 The work of this contract includes stormwater flow improvement and remediation through installation of floatables catchers, detention basin, constructed wetland, channels and pipe culverts along with replacement of the NW Pond dam, new Eagle Avenue visitor parking facility, new and restored trails including new pedestrian bridges, and upland restoration and wetland mitigation landscape.
