Site work and renovation of a military facility in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Completed plans call civil work for a military facility.
- Work to be performed includes repair of Facility 1910 (Fuel Bulkhead). This repair work includes removal of existing hardware and extruded fenders in assigned areas, installation of new arch fenders in assigned areas, repair of concrete facing and deck slab, cleaning and recoating eight cleats and one mooring bollard, installation of approximately 264 feet of combi-wall, and construction of a concrete cap. 1. Removal of existing extruded fenders and associated hardware. 2. Repair of concrete facing along the Quay Wharf bulkhead. 3. Procure and installation of new elastomeric arch fenders along the Fuel and Quay Wharves. 4. Clean and recoat existing mooring cleats and bollards. 5. Construction of a new pipe-Z Combi-Wall bulkhead along the Fuel Wharf, complete with new concrete cap and backfill. 6. Construction of new temporary mono-piles with donut fenders for use by supply vessels during construction. The mono-piles and donut fenders shall be removed after the Fuel Wharf bulkhead is completed and turned over to the Government. 7. Remove and replace existing ladder and I-beams. 8. Related environmental controls during construction.
