Renovation of a water / sewer project in Corolla, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of 9/11/2020 project was already awarded for $61,416.17. The Scope of Work for this project includes: Purchase and install 200 scfm blower. Provide concrete pad and bollard protection. Provide electrical connection, complete and operational, into existing wastewater treatment plant breaker panel. Provide and install piping and diffuser system including but not limited to: Elastomeric heat resistant connection to blower 3" galvanized header piping system in two existing sludge holding tanks o 1 1/2 " galvanized drop piping system within two existing sludge holding tanks including ball valves, unions and header assembly o Snap Cap, or approved equal, coarse air diffusers Upon award and contract execution, construction is anticipated to begin in August 2020. Duration of construction is 90 days. This is an informal bid. Bids will not be opened publicly and read aloud. The bids will be evaluated and contract will be awarded in accordance with the statutory requirements. All bidders must meet the licensing requirements under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses and Minority Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
