Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Corolla, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a 6,345-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work for this project is completion of a site and building project that was partially constructed approximately two years ago. Construction will include completion of the parking lot and sidewalks, roof drainage system, grading and landscaping and construction of the building on an existing concrete slab at the site located at the corner of Ocean Trail (NC 12) and Devil's Bay in Corolla, North Carolina. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in North Carolina, payable to the County of Currituck in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. In lieu of cash or a certified check, the Bidder may submit a bid bond in the form prescribed in G.S. 143-129 as amended by Chapter 1104 of the Public Laws of 1951. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses, Minority Owned Businesses, Veteran and Servicedisabled Veteran Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The Owner has set a verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation by Minority Business Participation for the construction contract. The Contractor shall comply with the State of North Carolina Historically Underutilized Program requirements in solicitation and preparation of their bid. Noncompliance with this program shall be grounds for declaring a bidder non-responsive. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
