Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
The project must include: Grade, recompact and final grade for asphalt installation. Install designated depth IDOT approved mix in two layers. Additional details of the project. Grading area to include recompact with padfoot roller and fine grading for asphalt installation. Boundary to be worked will be staked by County Staff. Grading to be the same with either 5 or 6 with new asphalt to match the existing roadway, both options should be bid for consideration. Asphalt to be installed in 2 layers with necessary tack included. No aggregate shouldering is included. All mixes to be IDOT approved mix designs 3/4 for base and 1/2 for surface. Estimated quantities are 6054 SY for grading, 1685 ton of asphalt for 5 or 2015 ton for 6 and these quantities will be finalized with work area identified by County Staff. Additional area for an overlay. Prepare for a 2 overlay and install 2 overlay at restroom parking area. Approximate quantity is 38 ton of asphalt PCCB reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to accept the bid deemed best for the PCCB.
