Renovation of an educational facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for repairs to the Girls Dormitory building at Iowa School for the Deaf (ISD), 3501 Harry Langdon Blvd, Council Bluffs, IA 51503. The project includes replacement of drywall, windows, window blinds, acoustical ceiling panels, paint, tuckpointing, concrete, sprinkler systems, HVAC, mechanical, fire alarm system, and electrical elements. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on December 1, 2024 and end on November 30, 2025. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project.
