As of September 15, 2023, this is in permitting stages. They are being held up by the Endangered Species Act in in permitting. A biological assessment is now required, which can take up to 2 years. Construction will not begin until at least, 2025. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The City of Bremerton, through its Parks and Recreation Department, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for topographic/bathymetry survey, civil, architectural, structural, and geotechnical engineering services for the Kitsap Lake Park Renovation Project. Consultant's work will consist of developing construction drawings and bid specifications for selected portions of the Kitsap Lake Park Renovation Project from design provided by city staff Consultant's work includes preparation of contract documents for the specific elements listed below. Layout, Materials, Details, Performance Specifications & Permitting for boat ramp/dock and fishing dock. Layout, Materials, Details for hardscape elements including curbing, asphalt parking lot, pathways, foundation/slab for pre-engineered shelter, and retaining wall at shoreline. Grading and Drainage design (including Temporary Erosion & Sedimentation Control) to ensure positive drainage and accessible pathways; Stormwater Vault Treatment System to capture/treat runoff in parking lot. Upgrades to existing restroom to include new roof, wider door opening, outdoor shower and ADA compliant fixtures. Utilities (electric) to pre-engineered shelter. Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates refined at key milestones (60%, 90%, and 100% Construction Drawings) Engineering support during construction. City reserves the right to modify the scope of work during the course of the project. Submittals will be evaluated on the following criteria: 1. Firms successful experience with similar projects 2. Qualifications of Key Personnel assigned to the project 3. Approach to the project 4. Familiarity with relevant local codes and standards 5.
