Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a new 2 MGD wastewater treatment facility to serve the industries in the City. The project consists of covered anaerobic lagoons; anaerobic building and pump station comprising of biogas blowers, boilers, heat exchangers, anaerobic effluent pump station; secondary treatment comprising of 4 trains for aerobic granular sludge system, blower building, pipe gallery; aerobic digesters and sludge pumping; solids processing building including dewatering and cake storage; ultraviolet disinfection; administration building and associated electrical/instrumentation/plumbing improvements. Estimated Value: $30-$35 Million The successful prime contractor agrees to ensure to the fullest extent possible that at least a 14 percent (6% - MBE; 8% - WBE *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
