he Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Public Works Department Maine, is seeking eligible business firms capable of repairs to substation 7 according to the specs and drawings at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. This solicitation is being advertised as a total small business set aside. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210. Project Description: The project will remove vintage 15kV switches, transformers, low voltage switchgear, conduits and associated equipment. Project will provide three new 2000kVA transformers, two 15kV switches, low voltage distribution switchgear, distribution conduit and cabling, and ship to shore connection boxes. Also included in the project is replacement of the existing chain link fence, concrete equipment pads, minor repairs to Building 165, upgrades for new reliable power requirements, and commissioning and testing. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance for this contract is 335 calendar days.
