The location of the Work is generally within city limits and within an area 1 mile east of the City of North English, Iowa, and the description of the Work involved is generally as follows: DIVISION 5: Triplex submersible Lift Station rated for 979 GPM with wet well, integral valve vault, and control building, chain link fence, emergency generator, and approximately 2,150 LF of 10" force main, 150 LF of 12" sanitary sewer, 1 manhole, site grading and granular surfaced access drive, demolition of manholes and abandonment of sewer, and miscellaneous associated work. DIVISION 6: Aerated lagoon followed by a fixed film reactor and UV disinfection, concrete control structures, process piping and valves, aeration piping and appurtenances, blower building, blowers, automatic wastewater samplers, ultrasonic flow meter, emergency generator, granular surfaced access drive, rip-rap, and miscellaneous associated work. DIVISION 7: Demolish existing lift station and sewage treatment plant structures and facilities, site grading, and miscellaneous associated work. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment on or before November 2, 2022 The City of North English, Iowa reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
