The Informal Quoting process is used when the Town estimates the total bid amount not to exceed $25,000. The Town of Davie is seeking a lump sum quote from qualified vendors to remove/replace a damaged storm water drainage solid pipe at SW 44th Court/SW 59th Avenue (see the photo in Exhibit B for project location). The pipe runs from North to South on SW 44th court in front of 5921 SW 44th court. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to purchasing@davie-fl.gov no later than Wednesday, July 29, 2020. The Town of Davie reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis. Scope of Work The removal consists of excavating and replacing approximately thirty-five feet (35') of thirty-six inches (36") galvanized elliptical storm water pipe and replace it with new HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) to meet ASTM F2764 standard. The invert level at the crown of the pipe is forty-eight inches (48"). The work is to be completed in the Town's right-of-way. After completion of the work, the contractor will be required to clean the two connecting catch basins and pipe. A Vac truck shall be used for the cleaning. The contractor is required to use Type SP-9.5 asphalt concrete mixture for the pavement restoration. All excavations shall be executed in accordance with the Building Code, the State of Florida Trench Safety Act (TSA) and OSHA requirements including notification of Sunshine State One-Call Center (1-800-432- 4770), 48 hours prior to any excavation. The contractor shall have 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP), by the Town, to complete the work. All work must be completed Monday through Friday between 7:00am - 7:00pm.
