Description of Work: This Project consists of the removing and replacing damaged concrete curb/gutter and sidewalk, removing the bituminous wedge, adjusting gate valves and manholes, placing bituminous tack coat, placing virgin bituminous wear and final restoration in the City of Cottage Grove, Minnesota: 1. Traffic Control and Access: a. Access to the Site will be provided from Hadley Avenue South or 95th Street South. 2. Erosion Control: a. Erosion will be closely monitored once construction begins. Specific erosion control measures will be implemented if deemed necessary by the Engineer upon experiencing actual field and construction conditions. b. Contractor shall exercise care in preserving downstream pond and wetland water quality. It is expected that adjacent storm sewer systems will be protected from sediment and from excavation materials. Location: Cottage Grove, Minnesota. The general Site is located on the west side of Hadley Avenue South and north of 95th Street South.
