Incorporate Urban Forestry Division (UFD) Permit requirements into the design; Coordinate with impacted utility companies as necessary during design and for construction; and CONTRACTOR shall assume all liability and responsibility for all unknowns and/or differing site conditions, including but not limited to utilities, subsurface conditions, permits, etc., of any nature or kind. Construction: The scope of work is outlined in the aerial map in the areas in need of repair or replacement. This project is subject to the provisions of the City's Local Business Preference Program. The Local Business Preference Program, which was recently passed by Ordinance No. 181910, provides an 8% bid preference to qualified local businesses. A copy of the Local Business Preference Program is provided in Part IV of the bid proposal.
