Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for the addition of a 9,543-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and theater / auditorium.

The project is Ridge View High School Renovations. The scope of work will include but is not limited to Interior Renovation of classrooms, 9,500 SF addition to the auditorium, 450 SF storage room addition, interior renovation to the CTE classrooms, the addition of interior wall at reception/entry, and renovation to two existing courtyards and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. We encourage participation by all minority business enterprises. PHASED CONSTRUCTION: Construct the Work in phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated on Drawings. 1. Interior Classroom Renovation. Work includes the renovation of the existing classrooms including but not limited to new mechanical equipment, ductwork, plumbing, casework, ceiling tiles, ceiling grid, and exterior walls. Four of the existing classrooms will be combined to create two new classrooms with access to the interior courtyard. Scope includes all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire protection work. Work to be coordinated with the interior courtyard work. 2. Auditorium Addition. Work includes the addition of approximately 9,500 SF of Classroom, Storage, Dressing Area, and Corridors. Scope includes all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection work. Work to be coordinated with the interior courtyard work. 3. Band Storage. Work includes the addition of a corridor and approximately 450 SF of storage area for band equipment. Scope includes all Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection work. 4. CTE Renovation. Work includes the renovation of the existing CTE classrooms to a single lab-type space with a new hollow metal door/window system to the interior courtyard. Scope includes Architectural, Civil, Landscape, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection work. Work to be coordinated with the interior courtyard work. 5. Security Vestibule at Entry. Work includes the addition of a new wall, doors, and bullet resistance transaction windows. The scope includes all architectural and electrical work. 6. Interior Courtyards. Work includes the addition of a new concrete sidewalk, seat wall, and paved terrace areas. Scope includes all Civil and Landscape work.
