Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project, generally described as rehabilitation of approximately 800 linear feet of 6" sanitary sewer lines, 4,180 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer lines, 1,120 linear feet of 12"sanitary sewer lines, 2,600 linear feet of 18" sanitary sewer lines by pipe bursting, replacement of manholes and sanitary sewer service connections The City of Silsbee, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award the project based on the best bid which best represents the interests of the City of Silsbee, Texas The right is reserved by the City of Silsbee, Texas, as its interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to City of Sour Lake, Texas; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids may be held by the City of Silsbee, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds.
