Site work for a water / sewer project in Onoway, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Darwell Lagoon Commission (DLC) wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Proponents for the construction of a new wastewater transmission line from the Summer Villages of Sandy Beach and Sunrise Beach to the Town of Onoway lagoon system. Currently all wastewater from the Summer Villages of Sandy Beach and Sunrise Beach is hauled to the Onoway lagoon. A transmission line spanning approximately 17 km from the Summer Village of Sandy Beach to the Onoway lagoon will be constructed. This system will allow the hauling of wastewater by truck to a lift station in Sandy Beach areas. Wastewater will then be pumped via the 17 kilometre transmission main to the Onoway lagoon. The project also includes a 5 kilometre low pressure collection/transmission line. This line will collect wastewater from the Summer Village of Sunrise Beach, and convey it to the lift station in the Sandy Beach area. Documents can be obtained from https://mpe.bidsandtenders.ca/
