Route 36 Waterline Replacement, Contract No. W-50, consisting of the replacement of approximately 1000' of water line and other miscellaneous work. The right is reserved, as the interests of Allegany County may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. Each bidder must furnish with his bid an acceptable bid bond or certified check as bid guarantee, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, payable to the Allegany County Commissioners. Separate Performance Bond and Payment Bonds each in the amount of the Contract Price will be required of the successful bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. Any Bidder may, at his option, withdraw any bid prior to the actual bid opening. The work to be done is that work shown on the Drawings and called for in the Specifications and other Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all implements, machinery, tools, equipment, material, and labor necessary for the performance of the work and shall furnish and do everything necessary to make the work satisfactory, complete, neat and finished; and the Contractor shall leave all the work to be done under this Contract in this condition at the time the work is finally inspected. The work to be completed under Contract W-50 shall include all labor, equipment and materials necessary to: Construct water distribution lines and services as shown on plans, Disinfect new distribution system, Mill, patch, and pave areas ofdisturbed asphalt, and Seed, mulch and restore disturbed areas as indicated.
