Solicitation no- TAP-5251(664) The Work under this Project consists of the improvements/replacement of sidewalk, curb, gutter, asphalt patching, signage, installation of conduit for future street lighting, and other incidentals necessary to complete all work shown on the approved plans. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Each Bidder shall submit a letter of certification from their surety that an Erosion and Sediment Control Surety Bond in the amount of $ 2,500.00 will be issued if the Bidder is awarded the contract. Questions will be received by the Engineer via email (VAbids@summitde.net) until 5:00 PM on May 21, 2021. Withdrawal of Bids due to error shall be subject to and in accordance with Section 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia and the Contract Documents. Any contract or contracts awarded under this advertisement for bids are expected to be funded in part by the Virginia Department of Transportation - Enhancement Program. If a contract is to be awarded, it shall be awarded to the apparent low responsive and responsible bidder determined from bids forwarded by Contractors.
