Renovation of a detention facility in Lawrenceville, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
** No bids received. Re-bid details to follow. Temporarily remove or relocate the existing razor wire in order to provide access to the top rail of the fence gate. Disconnect electrical to two gate operators. Remove wiring and mark for re-connection to new. Reconnect wiring to new gate motors and check for proper function. Work to be performed during normal business hours. Programming of the gate controls or low voltage wiring to other locations is not included. Sally Port Gate No. 1 Replace the limit box parts (shaft, sprocket, limit switches, limit chain, and master link. Furnish and install a new lock tang where missing. Repair the existing 4in x 1/2in T plate welded to the bottom rail of Gate #1. Weld the plate securely back into place. Sally Port Gate No. 2 Replace, in its entirety, the motor, gearbox, and power unit inside the Gate#2 control box. The existing weather box remains. Both Sally Port Gate No. 1 and No. 2 Furnish and install PLUSS gate rebuild kit #51550, #51552, and #51554. Please see attached sketches. Include removing the razor wire from the top rail of the gate, only as needed, to perform the maintenance repairs.
