Bid amount received $687,690.78 The principal features of the work will consist of the installation of approximately 168 LF of 48" RCP, associated storm water conveyance improvements, and site grading and armoring to repair and stabilize embankment areas, within the former Rolling Hills landfill which eroded following the April 2014 rainfall event. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted to Engineer (Steven White P.E. Mott-MacDonald) in writing via email at steven.white@mottmac.com up to seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Interpretations or clarification considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by addenda to the ECUA website to all parties registered to receive documents about this bid via the website. Questions received less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for the opening of bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. After the issuance of any solicitation, all bidders/proposers/protestors or individuals acting on their behalf are hereby prohibited from lobbying as defined herein or otherwise attempting to persuade or influence any elected ECUA officials, their agents or employees or any member of the relevant selection committee at any time during the blackout period as defined herein; provided, however, nothing herein shall prohibit bidders/proposers/protestors or individuals acting on their behalf from communicating with the purchasing staff concerning a pending solicitation unless otherwise provided in the solicitation or unless otherwise directed by the purchasing manager.
