The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified STRUCTURAL Engineers, licensed in the State of Florida , in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Chapter 471, to perform STRUCTURAL Engineering Services on Continuing Contract. Pursuant to FS 287.055 (CCNA), this contract will be used for miscellaneous assignments not covered within the scope of a defined project. The consultant shall perform miscellaneous Structural Engineering services. Such services shall include but not necessarily be limited to; investigation, evaluation, planning, and design of engineering works and systems on buildings owned or operated by the School Board of Palm Beach County. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via portal NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M., EDT on JULY 20, 2020. The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified, Consultants licensed by the State of Florida, to perform STRUCTURAL Engineering Services on Continuing Contract. Structural Engineering Services shall be provided by State of Florida licensed Consultants to furnish: planning, design, engineering, and consulting services in connection with various buildings and projects owned or operated by the School Board of Palm Beach County. The services shall include, but not be limited to inspection services, engineering recommendations, individual building inspections to determine areas and reasons for the requested modifications or problem solving, design, construction administration and all other necessary services to assist staff as requested. LEED design principals and LEED Accredited Professionals on staff are preferred. AWARD OF CONTRACTS The term of the Contract will commence upon the Award Date. The term of the Contract shall be for one (1) year, with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods based on favorable performance for the prior term of the Contract.
