Building permits were issued April 2022. Plans call for elevator renovation & improvements consisting of, but not limited to, three existing elevators, cleaning & sealing existing masonry surfaces, painting & waterproofing, joint sealants & flashing, upgrade existing HVAC systems in mechanical rooms, electrical alterations & modifications to existing fire alarm system. Bid packages bidding: 4A - Masonry 9B - Painting (requires pre-qualification) 14A - Conveying Systems/Elevators (requires pre-qualification) 23A - HVAC (specifications on drawings) 26A - Electrical Addendum #1 has been issued, as of November 22, 2021. RFI's are due to Richard Winchester at CM's office no later than 11-17-2021, 5:00 PM PRE-QUALIFICATION: All firms bidding Bid Packages 9A (Painting) and 14A (Elevators) must submit (and be approved) the Cook Brothers, Inc. Prequalification form. The form is found on the CBI website and is due to CBI no later than Monday 11/22/21, 5:00 PM. Please direct all bids and inquiries to the Construction Manager. CBI is actively seeking participation from Office of Economic Vitality MWSBE Certified bidders. A PROJECT REVIEW MEETING will be held in the CBI office, Thursday Nov. 4th at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. This meeting will focus on MWSBE participation. Subjects to be addressed may include, but not limited to, defining scopes of work; Q&A regarding E-Verify, insurance requirements, bonding and payment procedures. All questions are welcomed at this meeting. MWBE PARTICIPANTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THIS MEETING IN ADDITION TO THE ON-SITE MEETING TO BE HELD ON Wednesday Nov. 10, 2021.
