The Scope of Work Includes Removal and Replacement and/or Demolition of 30 Combination Air Valves on Various Wastewater Force Mains (Ranging From 30-inch to 4-inch) Throughout the Town of Clarksville; Also 2253 Lf of New 12-inch C900 Dr 25 Pvc Force Main With Connection Assemblies, Including Gate Valves, at Two (2) Locations and Abandoning and Safeloading an Existing Force Main; Traffic Control; Erosion Prevention Sediment Control Bmps; Pavement and Surface Restoration. These Site Visits Are Not Mandatory, but These Will Be the Only Times Available for Detailed Examination of the Arvs and Vaults. Bidders Will Not Be Given Permission for Accessing Any Arvs on Private Property or for Opening Any Vaults for Examination at Any Other Time. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids. All Bids Shall Be Unit Price and Shall Be Submitted in Duplicate. State Board of Accounts Form No. 96, Which is Included in Section 00410 - Bid Form, Shall Be Fully Completed and Executed in the Manner Required by Law. An Executed State Board of Accounts Form 96a, or Similar Document, Shall Also Be Submitted. Each Bidder Must Deposit, With His Bid, Security in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid, Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders Must Comply With Osha (P.c. 91-596) and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (P.e. 91-54). Small, Minority, and Women's Owned Businesses Are Encouraged to Submit Bids on This Project. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Ninety (90) Consecutive Calendar Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. This Project Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bidder. Bidders Shall Assume That They Have Obtained Complete Sets of Drawings and Contract Documents and Shall Assume the Risk of Any Errors or Omissions in Bids Prepared in Reliance on Incomplete Sets of Drawings and Contract Documents.
