Site work for a water / sewer project in Clarksville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contractor completing the water main installation of this project shall be Pre-Approved by Indiana American Water. The approved Contractor installing the water main is allowed to be a Sub-Contractor to the Prime-Contractor Private Property work shall be completed by a licensed plumber. The bidder must file with their sealed bid proposal, a certified check or a bid bond in the amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total bid, payable to the Town of Clarksville. The above check or bond is to insure the execution of the contract on which such bid is made. The qualified Contractor to whom the work is awarded shall furnish, within ten (10) days after the date of said contract award and before commencing work, a performance and payment bond in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said contractor, and certificates of all insurance required by the Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any proposal, or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or proposals, or to make such combination of proposals as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. and you are to have substantial completion 228 calendar days from NOTICE TO PROCEED. The work shall be fully completed within 259 calendar days from NOTICE TO PROCEED.
