Site work and paving for a civil project in Clarksville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The enlargement (includes nearly 50,000 cubic yards of excavation) and beautification of an existing detention basin, as well as, the construction of nearly 3,200 linear feet of a multi-use trail in and around the detention basin. Bidders who submit a Bid shall obtain the Bidding Documents from Lynn Imaging. Plan Holders are requested to provide an e mail address if they wish to receive addenda and other information electronically. Plan Holders are requested to designate whether they are a prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier if they want this information posted on the Project Plan Holders List. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Bidders shall comply with federal wage rates. The qualified Contractor to whom the Work is awarded shall furnish, within 15 days after the date of said Contract award and before commencing Work, a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to the Bid price of the Contract awarded to said Contractor, and certificates of all insurance required by the Specifications. The Bid security of the three lowest Bidders will be retained until the Contract has been awarded and executed, but no longer than 60 days from the date of opening Bids. OWNER reserves the right to reject any proposal, or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or proposals, or to make such combination of proposals as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in Bidding. Any proposal may be withdrawin prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of proposals or authorized postponement thereof. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids for at least 60 days. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the Project shall apply to the Project throughout. Female and minority bidders are encouraged to Bid. Bidders are encouraged to utilize local, female, and minority subcontractors.
