Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cortland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Milepost 208.17 to Milepost 212.76 The Work to be performed under the Contract for Project No. 39-20-03 (PART A), if any is awarded on the basis of the Bids, consists of removing and reconstructing the pavement in the right two (2) lanes and shoulder in both directions of the Ohio Turnpike. The Work includes, but is not limited to, excavating existing pavement, constructing full depth pavement, chemically stabilizing the subgrade, constructing approach and departure ramp pavement for new plaza in both directions, constructing a new access drive, performing slope repairs, performing drainage repairs and replacements, installing concrete barrier wall, asphalt curbs, guardrail, performing approach slab replacements, installing new box trusses and cantilever sign supports, pavement markings and other traffic control devices, performing temporary traffic control, tree removal, clearing and grubbing, right of way fence replacement, installing new ramp light foundations, light poles, pull boxes, installing a water well and septic system, and coordination with the 58-20-01 Building Contractor and the Toll Collection Systems Integrator Contractor. The Work to be performed under the Contract for Project No. 39-20-03 (PART B), if any is awarded on the basis of the Bids, consists of but not limited to, excavating and constructing embankment for grading preparation of the entire toll plaza site, performing drainage installations, guard rail installation, constructing full depth asphalt pavement, installation of pavement markings and other traffic control devices on both the north and south side of the Ohio Turnpike. All Work is to be performed as per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents for this Project Milepost 211.0 Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by the Commission. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply to this Project. The Small Business Enterprise (DBE/EDGE/SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 11%. A Contract will be awarded, if any award be made, to the Bidder determined to have submitted the lowest responsive and responsible Bid for the performance of the Work. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor irregularities or technical deficiencies. OTIC Construction Contract No. 39-20-03 OTIC Design Contract No. 71-18-03 *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
