Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cortland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a wastewater treatment plant.
Owner anticipates that the Projects total bid price will be approximately $1,454,448.50 The Project includes the following Work: The improvements to the Mecca WWTP include installing flow equalization tanks, a flow splitter box with a bar screen, a new standby diesel generator and a new chemical feed system for phosphorus reduction as well as replacing existing sand filters, aerated sludge holding tank, aeration tank air piping and baffle, clarifier airlift pumps and baffle, a portion of the effluent piping, and providing various site improvements for access and storm discharge. The improvements to the Bazetta WWTP include extending the existing influent sewer to a new trash trap, modifying the existing flow equalization tank, installing a new chemical feed system for phosphorus reduction, and providing miscellaneous site improvements.
