Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of April 21,2023, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to demolish existing paving and selectively remove stone retaining walls inorder to construct an ADA accessible concrete sidewalk, curbs, and ramps leading to proposed asphalt basketball half court. Project will include installation of asphalt paving, fencing, benches, bike racks, basketball hoop, court surfacing and line striping. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. The Nesquehoning Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
