Deposit and postage are nonrefundable. In accordance with Section 153.54, of the Ohio Revised Code, each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of EITHER (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Ohio as surety, OR (2) a certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Each bid guaranty shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, Butler County, Ohio. The contract referenced above involves the construction, repair, or maintenance of public roads, and all bidders must be pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the type of work being performed. The Board of County Commissioners, Butler County, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids. THE UNDERSIGNED HAVING FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE SITE, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENT, HEREBY AGREES TO FURNISH ALL SERVICES, LABOR, MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE SAME BY November 14, 2020 ACCORDING TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
