**As of September 14, 2020, the project has been awarded but the award information is not yet available at this time. The Town of Clayton will receive sealed proposals for pulverizing and repaving a one-mile section of Larsen Road from STH 76 to Oakwood Avenue in the Town of Clayton, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Work also includes addition of curb returns at three intersections, and installation of an aluminum box culvert to be provided and assembled by the Owner. Bid Security/Withdrawal/Rejection: No bid will be received unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% but not more than 10% of the bid payable to the Town of Clayton as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance within fifteen days after the award of the Contract. If the successful Bidder so files the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the Owner shall return the check or bond upon execution of the Contract. If the Bidder fails to file the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Clayton as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time for closing of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
